Documentation Diese Datei beinhaltet das Schema der auf XML basierenden EPICUR-Transfersyntax zur Abbildung des umfassenden URN-Workflows. Mit diesem Schema werden zwei Ziele verfolgt: 1. Die Einbindung in OAI 2.0 zum selektiven Harvesten von URN-Records durch die Deutsche Nationalbibliothek von einem DataProvider. URN-Records beinhalten folgende Informationen: - Einen neu erstellten Metadatensatz mit Informationen ueber die URN und die zugehoerige URL. - Es wird zusaetzlich eine Metainformation ueber einen bei dem DataProvider geaenderten Record angegeben. Dieser Fall tritt ein, wenn die URL aktualisiert wurde. - Es koennen optional hierarchische Zuordnungen (Gesamt- und Teildokument) angegeben werden und die fuer Teildokumente vergebenen URNs. - Optional ist die Abbildung von semantischen Informationen vorgesehen wie z.B. die Angabe einer URN, die fuer eine neue Dokumentversion vergeben wurde. 2. Das Anbieten einer separaten Schnittstelle zur Implementation eines aktiven URN-Melde- und Updateprozesses an die Deutsche Nationalbibliothek mit folgenden Informationen: - URN-Erstregistrierung - Erstmeldung einer URN fuer neue Dokumentversionen - Erstmeldung von URNs fuer Teildkokumente - Update einer URL - URL-Update bei mehr als 1 registrierten URL fuer eine URN - URL-delete - URL-insert Stand: Februar 2004 Version: 1.0 Autoren: Kathrin Schroeder

Glossary

Abstract (Applies to complex type definitions and element declarations). An abstract element or complex type cannot used to validate an element instance. If there is a reference to an abstract element, only element declarations that can substitute the abstract element can be used to validate the instance. For references to abstract type definitions, only derived types can be used.

Collapse Whitespace Policy Replace tab, line feed, and carriage return characters with space character (Unicode character 32). Then, collapse contiguous sequences of space characters into single space character, and remove leading and trailing space characters.

Disallowed Substitutions (Applies to element declarations). If substitution is specified, then substitution group members cannot be used in place of the given element declaration to validate element instances. If derivation methods, e.g. extension, restriction, are specified, then the given element declaration will not validate element instances that have types derived from the element declaration's type using the specified derivation methods. Normally, element instances can override their declaration's type by specifying an xsi:type attribute.
